Regulator Gasket

I picked up one of the RF regulators that you had on clearance. The instructions mention a white gasket that goes on the fitting between the CO2 tank. Can these be picked at a local hardware store or are they a special part?

You can pick them up at most places that fill CO2, they are usually free with a fill if you ask nicely.

I am in S. IN near Louisville. Picked up a nylon washer from Ace Hardware as the gas place is close on weekends. It was a thick washer but it seems to work OK. I just had it on long enough to test the needle valve. I needed to make up some water to add to the chambers of the reactor.

Do you think this one will work ok?

That should work just fine for you. If you're concerned about it once you get it fired up and running just use a spray bottle of water and a little bit of dish soap on the connection. If you get any bubbling then you'll know you have a leak.
