Reintroduction of CUC after Velvet

I have just been through pretty much a tank wipeout from what I believe was Velvet. I lost a male and Harem of 5 Squareblock Anthias plus another male Lyretail. I was only left with a Regal Angel and a FM Lyretail. The tank was only new and is FOWLR, I didn't have the room to treat them in my QT as they were all 4-5" fish so I elected to treat with CP in the DT. I had to remove all my snails as they would have died from the CP, I have now finished treatment and want to reintroduce the snails. What sort of quarantine do I need to do as they were in a infected tank and I don't want to reinfect it. I was thinking TT, would this work against Velvet?

The fallow period for velvet is 6 weeks, so the snails would have to be kept isolated from the DT for that long to prevent reinfection. TT does not work for velvet (or for inverts at all, for that matter). Another concern is how sure are you that you've got all the CP out of the DT before reintroducing inverts?

I have been doing 3x50 litre water changes per day and will continue for the next week (650 litre system) as well as much lighting as I can get to degrade the CP. Six weeks sounds fine, and with the WC it should be good to go for them.
Thanks for the info.
