Relocating a Rock Anemone (Epicystis crucifer)

How do you do it when the foot is lodged in a hole within the LR?

Move the whole rock?

:lmao: No just the anemone. It's foot is lodged in a crevice within the LR and I would like to move it without damaging it.

Well that was my suggestion. I know some people have success with pointing powerheads at them for awhile. It may not stay where you move it tho, unless it's going into a different tank.

Ahh...yes I was afraid they were somewhat more "permanent" than other anemones. Thanks for the suggestion. Exactly how long does it usually take using the powerhead method?

It can take quite awhile. In the past I've used a powerhead in conjunction with a credit card or some other piece of plactic to pry around the edges. These guys can really dig in deep so be prepared to spend some time coercing it out of its hole.
