Well a while ago I had a post about keeping damsel-fish that have not be QT'd in a reef display tank. My reasoning for doing this is simply time. I don't have the time at the moment and will be going for for college in under a year.
So I simply wanted to enjoy my tank with some good hardy fish in there for a while before college. I didn't want to go fallow for the third time for 10-12 weeks again.
Although I know this is against the grain, and not really approved or accepted on this forum. I'm going to give it a shot. I know the risks. I also know that Garlic and other such remedy s don't cure Ich.
So my question is this whats the best ways to boost fishes immune system and keep them as healthy as possible?
Please if you do not like my strategy of keeping fish this way. Please do NOT post saying you need to go fallow or the only way is to QT. I've been over it! I'm not trying to cause a riot, just need help with this aspect of the aquarium fish keeping. If you want to help me! please suggest what kind of food, how to mix it, how often to feed, etc.
Thanks,
Charley
