2 days of skimming

i'm pretty disappointed.

The tank looks nice! Remember the skimmate is based upon bio-load and proteins/organics in the tank. The more junk, the more skimmate it will produce. My Remora goes in and out of periods where it will look like yours to other times it looks like black sludge. Give it some time.

must have black sludge!!!!
my tank is pretty heavily stocked right now with SPS corals, LPS, 1 yasha, 1 lyretail anthia, misc zoos, almost max imo. i feed once a day, nitrates are 7.5 atm.
yes that is a clam on top digitaledge, its a crocea. i have another crocea in the bottom next to a maxima and both are doing fine. sunpod 150. if yours is bleaching i would move it higher up to the light. (if its losing color) if its turning whitish blue then its too much light, which i highly doubt is possible. the top part divider i kinda ripped with a plier, so it fits snugly there :D

yeah, brown almost always means it needs more light. how old are your bulbs? move it up halfway and reposition your sunpod.
