I've got my ACIII hooked into my home network router (also serves as modem) and can access the site through the IP. What do I have to do to access my ACIII site from abroad?
I contacted att and they said they didn't think the 2wire router (2701HG-B) had the capability to set WAN settings, etc. I wasn't able to figure out how to log into my home network through this router, either.
One of the form questions on the site was "How do I access my Home Portal Network using Web Remote Access". It mentions opening a browser and typing in my personal domain. I told the tech I don't know of a personal domain of my own and he said to use my email addy in the address line. I tried it and it didn't work, but I'm on the network. I figured I'd try it tomorrow from work, but thought I'd see if there were other ideas in the interim. I'm headed out of country for a week and would like to be able to check in on everything
.
Any other AT&T ACIII remote access users with any ideas? I feel like when you mention that it is an aquarium controller you're ultimately trying to access, there is a fear of the unknown with the tech I chatted with.
