Hey there all. Recently we remodeled our living room and the goal was to get more space in the living room. Our 55 gallon FO saltwater tank was taking a good section of room. So me being my smart self said."Well why dont we tear down that little deviding wall and make it bigger and put the tank in there. So we did.

So that worked all well and good. Everything fit nice and snug. And then a few months later. " How about we go reef". I thought of every way to get around using a sump as i had no room for an overflow or sump down below.
Well I gave up on that dream and went about planning one.
The best place to put one would be 15 feet away in the garage. Well fine. My father and I went about planning it. We came up with an "Un-floodable" desgin that required ONLY ONE PUMP. 2 Pipes through the attic( We live in california and have no basement) to the garage 15 feet away. and this is what we got.

<br>And then i bought the pump and skimmer<br>

<br>I have since bought a RODI system. The problems i have encounterd so far have been a heat problem from the pipes moving though the attic. It is now working after putting in a DIY chiller. WOHO if you have any questions or comments(That dont require me to change the entire setup) let me know!
