Remounting Corals?

I just ordered some frag rocks since they look a lot more natural than the disks most people use. Most of my SPS corals are mounted to these type of disks via the super glue gel. I would rather mount them on the frag rocks. Would it be bad on them to break them free from the frag plug and remount them to the frag rocks? I think the super glue will break free from the plug pretty easy. At least it does when I don't want it to.

Yes, that is fine....

And it is a good habit to remount the frags you get anyways, you never know what kind of nasties come with them, alot of stuff hides/lays eggs underneath the frag itself...

If the coral can take shipment, acclimation, delousing dips, quarantine tank remounting them is a very good idea. It really does get rid of alot of unwanted extras.

Where'd you order your frag rocks? Looking to get some nice rubble pieces as well for this very reason.

I like those. I've been using them for everything from LPS to SPS. I had to use epoxy to build up a bigger base for some of my bigger colonies.
