removing a haddoni foot

I'm considering selling my blue haddoni (locally, this is not a for sale thread). How do I get him to let go of the tank bottom?

Aww why are you going to sell that blue beauty? Well you could do what I did to get my lta to detach from the bottom of my tank. First I removed all the sand that was surrounding its foot. I put on some gloves and slowly pushed its foot off the glass with the tips of my fingers. I wouldn't use a credit card, my reason is.. you can't feel where the credit card is exactly, which could make the card tear into the anemones foot. You could try the powerhead trick but that could just lead to a mess and the anemone still attached to the bottom of the tank. Good luck on finding a good home for your pretty blue haddoni.:)

First off, wear gloves.

Clear all the sand that you can that is around it, then SLOWLY pry it off the bottom. And I will stress that again SLOWLY. It is very easy to poke your finger through the foot as you are doing this --- I speak from experience. (( lucky for me it made a full recovery after looking like death )). If it isn't giving away right away, take a break. I know that I was getting very frustrated while doing it.

Something that has always worked for me is ice. either freeze some ro water or some tank water and rub the ice cube on the nems foot. it retracts like magic, they dont like the cold very much haha.

cheers
