removing anemone

any tricks on removing anemones from rocks? i have heard placing a ice cube on the foot will get them to release...any merit to this? if so i assume just freeze a cube or ro/di and go to work? any other ideas or support of this one are welcome. thanks

Point a p/h at him. He'll get uncomfortable with the high flow and release.

Ice cube works wonders. I was a skeptic of it until I tried it on my bubble tip when it got too big. just hold the ice cube on the foot and even push on it a little and before you know it, the foot will just let go.
