Hi All,
Been busy lately so I haven't been checking in as much as usual.
I have a lot of orange ricordia, some with extra giant polyps. They have taken over two large rocks in my tank. I want to remove some of them from the rock but do not want to take out the rock if I don't have to.
In the past I tried cut near the base with a razor blade and that works but it will be difficult with this group because of the size, number, and shape of the rock. Many of them seem to be attached in holes and low spots in the rock, hard to get in with a razor or scissor.
Anyone have any suggestions how to get them off without mutilating them. I realize if I hack them up, most will grow but I would feel better if I can get some off whole.
I know people are interested in some of these but I can't find an easy way to get them out of the display.
