removing SPS frags from aragonite plug

What is the best way to remove them from the golf tee shaped plug? they can't stay on, just wondering if I should kinda break it off or try to make it grow off somehow.

hey louie, just take it off and then epoxy it or super glue it to whatever your intentions are...hth.

It won't hurt the corals to take them out of the water?

Do a search for low tide, you'll see miles of sps corals baking in the sun. Thats why they slime up. Its a protective coating to block uv from the sun. I've left sps frags out for over a hour with no problems
