Removing SPS from plugs

I just picked up some SPS frags form FAOIS on Sat during the sale. I need some help with removing the frags from the plugs, or a good way to break the stem of the plug off so I can glue the SPS where I want them on the LR.

Thanks
Ken

If you have a tiny regular screwdriver, you can stick it between the frag and the plug and twist it. Superglue doesn't hold plastic very well (hence the plastic cap) and the plug is a very shallow bowl. I've had them come out on accident. It doesn't take much to remove them without cutting them.

But if the coral has grown onto or around the plug, then that's another thing.

Funny, Ive been having this same problem. I tried the little screwdriver, but kind of chipped up the base of some acros and had to stop. I guess a quick and deliberate hack saw or bone cutter will probably work best.
