removing zoas

I have some zoas that are somewhat outta control. Is there anyway to slow their growth, or to even control their growth. I'm not even opposed to killing them (maybe creating a barrier if you will) if possible. They are on a rock that is glued to my structure so removing the rock is outta the question.

Any ideas?

Kalk paste injections into the stock through the head. Turn off flow and pumps if you can. Only do a handful at a time so as to not overload tank w/kalk. I've done it with some success.

I just take a razor and cut them off the rock and then use a tooth brush to brush away anyhing thing left. Just be carefull though and wear gloves

Cut them with a sharp razor blade and make plugs for your friends at the local club.
