Renaming Apex Modules/Probes

I have recently added modules to my Apex, but I cannot get probe name changes to stick. Never had this problem before. I go into probe/input setup, select the probe and type in my new name then hit save. Reverts back to the stock name though. Any bright ideas?

Turns out there is a limit to the number of custom probe names. I have exceeded that limit.

Out of curiosity, what is the limit? I have 10 probes spreaded on 3 systems and never had any problems.

Hah, good question ..... 20 I think. Limit includes probes and switches. I have 3 temp, 1 cond, 1 pH and waaaay too many switches.

Darn, i might be right on the edge, i have 3 I/O breakout box, but i didn't used them all yet. I wonder why the limitation :thumbdown

Question for the folks at Neptune. Does seem odd, which is why it never occurred to me
