Replacement carbon filter for RO system?

Hello,

Is the 0.5-1 micron carbon filter from Home Depot (GE Carbon Filter ) adequate to use as a replacement for a RO/DI system?

I'm currently using a 4-stage system from PurelyH2O and it's time to replace the DI resin. I figured I'd change out the carbon at the same time.
