Replacement for OR2500

Hey Guys

I have an Ocean Runner 2500 Pump on my Turboflotor Multi SL

My pump has shorted out and I need to replace it. I know that Aqua Medic has had a fire, and you are out of stock on that item.

Is there a decent replacement for this pump? I would rather not use a RIO, although I'm starting to get desperate because it has been a few days now since the pump went down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Brian,

About the only thing I could suggest in place of that pump would either be a Sedra3500 (one of the ASM pumps) or the Gen-X 2400 with a needlewheel. Neither of these will bea direct replacement, and you will have to do some creative plumbing to get them to work, moreso with the Sedra though. The Gen-X would be a little easier to make work in there I think.
