Replacement impeller/driver unit needed for 6100.10

Hello Roger,

I have two 6100.10 connected to the 7092 wavecontroller, which works wonderfully. However, when the pumps cycle on and off I am hearing an awful clicking sound. No clicking sound while the pumps are constantly on. I suppose the sound are the brakes actuating. I tried cleaning the pump and driver assembly, which obviously did not help.

Will part number 6100.700 resolve the clicking sound? I saw the part in a local fish store it looks rather large and I was not sure if it would fit.

It will reduce it but not eliminate it, all of these pumps click a little on start up, especially the older models that weren't made for rapid on and off cycling, the brakes on the older drive units certainly make it much louder. 6100.700 is the correct part, be sure to change every part that is included with 6100.700.
