Replacement Jumpers 6105

PrangeWay

Duke of Monte Fisto
Misplaced my 12v jumpers for my 6105's (have the 18's and 24's).

Are they available from the part store? I couldn't find them.

Thanks,
PW

Jumpers in, everything running fine for 2 hrs or so...

Thank I looked in tank and the one 6105 wasn't spinning.
There is a "red light" on in the power block by the fuze now.
Popped it open and checked to see if shaft/assembly needed cleaning, it didn't.

I take it my motor block failed?

and update. Now neither pump works, and the 7095 no longer "powered".
So I'd change this assumption to both my bricks blew?

Thanks,

If the power supplies still show a red LED, then likely it is the pumps or the jumpers. Are you sure you ordered the right jumpers? If your power supply is the older 6101.240 (order number by the Tunze logo on the back) these jumpers are no longer available and the replacements you ordered will not work, they are only for the current 6105.240 which we have used since Feb 2010. The pins are too short on these jumpers to make contact on the 6101.240.

The power bricks are the older 6101.240 (my 6105's are original release).

The 12v did work (plugged them in and pumps worked), but I did swap them back to the 18v when things stopped working. I'll take a volt meter to the power supplies tonight and see which is broken (bricks or motors).

Do the new 6105.240's work fine with my older 6105's if I have to order a new pair of power bricks?

Luckily there is no rush as my old 6000's are up and running fine now. Although I forgot how huge they are compared to the newer models.

The new power supplies work with the old pumps, nothing changed except the power supply which changed to meet new EU regulations, it is basically more energy efficient, when the pump is off, it uses 0.5W, the old ones used 3W.
