Replacement MH Blubs

Hey guys,

I have a Aqualight Pro unit with 2x150 MH currently at 10,000K. I'ven been looking on Hellolights.com for replacements. I would like to put at least 20,000K in. What brand would you recommend?

My favorite DE bulb is the phoenix. It's actually 14k but it has more blue than the others. I like it cause it's nice in color and has a pretty good price. They don't last the longest but not the worst either. The Ushio 20k is nice too if you like a little less blue.

I think the "in" bulb right now for 20k DE is the Helios. You can get them at fragfarmer.com

Do you have any comments on Iwasaki?
There is a 20,000K for a good price. Someone at Cesars mentioned this bulb.

The Iwasaki 50k is awsome, I have them in single end though, but I also have the medium base to go with it so if you like to try them out, you can have them cheap

That would be awesome. How old are they?

I ran them for 4 hours a day for about 3 mos so they are are good for a while. I have 3 or 4 of them

Just so you know, the iwasaki 50k burns whiter than a 14k.

It's a very nice bulb but if you like blue, it won't have enough for you.

But since Tom is such a nice guy, you'll get to see for yourself before splurging on new ones.

I agree on the DE phoenix. I have one on my 24 NC (250watts) and it looks great perfect blend all together!

I really do like a more blue tint better that bright white, So I'm gonna give the phoenix a try. Thanks for all your suggestions everyone.
