Replacement Power supply on 6105

HI Roger,

I have a pair of 6105's that are only about 2yrs old and one of the power supply has burnt out. Is this covered under warranty? I remember I purchased them from Premium Aquatics. How should I go about in getting one of these replaced. I've verified that it's the power supply by switching it with the other one, and it seems to be working fine that way. Thank you in advance.

The warranty is 2 years, the power supplies should be regarded as a consumable, they generally last about 3 years and then need to be replaced, they are relatively inexpensive. If it is less than 2 years old, you would send it in with receipt and as long as there is no evidence of water damage it would be replaced under warranty. It is part 6105.240 and they cost about $56, it is an off the shelf laptop charger of 50W capacity.
