Replacement pump for Nano skimmer

Hi Roger,

My nano pump (800.40) died for some unknown reason. I've disassembled it and cleaned it and still no success. I'd like to get a replacement pump as the skimmer is absolutely awesome for my 11 gallon nano.

Can I buy one through you or who would you suggest that I contact to order a replacement?

Yes, if it is less than 2 years old send it in for warranty replacement. Otherwise, we have some in stock and Premium Aquatics should have them as well. MSRP is about $45.

Can you tell the age from the serial number? 4025167 990212.

I bought it from a fellow Reef Central user late last year, who said it was less than a year old.

if not, is there a code or number somewhere else that I can provide?

There is a date code inside the impeller well, it looks like a sundial. It is pointing at a month and the two numbers beside the arrow are the year.
