Hey all,
I have a Bubble Magus BM-T01 dosing pump unit and I'm trying to find out how often is it neccessary to change out the dosing pump heads for new ones? The heads are $24.99 each so it can get expensive to change these out regularly. I'd really appreciate if people could chime in on how often to replace these for new ones or any other maintence I should do to pro long the life of the dosing pump heads.

After a year I saw the tubing was pulled all the way to one side and when I tugged on it there was a leak. I bought new heads, and took the old ones apart, the internal area looked good, so just the tubing needed replaced. So IME the tubing needs replaced, but the heads were good after a year at least. I will just keep the extra heads and replace tubing so when needed I can just pop off an and on with the new.

Mine made it about 15 months before needing replacement. I replaced the entire heads. It seems from various posts that 12 to 18 months is about what you can expect. I think that hold true for most brands.

I've just been replacing the tubing and cleaning the rollers and central drive shaft about every 8 to 12 months. Seems to work well. Much less expensive. I keep a couple of extra heads around just in case
