Replacing Female Ocellarus

Calappidae

Harlequin Shrimp
How should I go about this? The female jumped out the tank and now the male is alone..

I also couldn't get either one to host a BTA in there either.. eventually the BTa didn't make it as it never arrived in good condition anyway (non-sticky)

Would it be alright to just order another Ocellarus, put it in a container with an anemone, and then place the anemone in the DT with the clown in it? Hoping the other one follows and one of them earns dominance?

just replace the clown with a much smaller one than your male.

as for putting the anemone and clown into a container to get the clown to go inside, I strongly suggest not doing this, it can harm the clown if it isn't used to the stings and even cause death on a rare occasion, it would be like me putting you in a bathtub with jelly fish, sure your gonna get stung and it will hurt but over time you will prob. get used to it. no reason to put your clowns in that situation for your enjoyment. just give it time and let the clowns decide what they want.

Understood, I'll place the anemone in the tank and let the clowns freely roam and decide.

I'm guessing they're very unlikely to host it anytime soon being tankbred?

tank bred or wild cought makes no diffrence no matter what anyone tells you, the biggest factor is that the BTA is not a natural host anemone for these clowns. you put a rittri anemone in the tank with tankbred ocy's and I bet they will go straight for the anemone.
