Hello I have the 12 gallon aquapod and it has been up about 7 weeks. I am running all the filter media that came with it. Should I replace this media with coral rubble and cheato? If so what goes in what chambers? Their are 4 chambers.
Rubble and poly-filter only. Get rid of everything else.
Mechanical always first then biological. Cheato is nice, but needs light to get to it. LR and LS should be enough if it's setup right.
Well I don't have a 12. I have a 24 and it only has 2 chambers.
But the first should be your (mechanical) sponge, rubble, poly-filter, then your heater.
How do you have it now???
