ok so another 170.00 1/2 price and was told he was healthy and eating like a pig.
I was sent a picture but only one side and the bad eye is on the other .
got him this morning, he is fat at least .but did have a few flukes when I did a freash water dip . so eye could be that I don't know.
would you just do prazi or another me I do have paragusrd and furan2 on hand .
and yes after 400 on these 2 fish I have learned my lesson and I am only ordering from live aquaria.
I would love to save this guy and get him healthy .

To tell you truth I didn't even turn the lights on yet because he was so stressed out from shipping in the freshwater dip but it looks a little plump in the bag
And of course it wasn't like that 12 hours ago before shipping yeah right

Yes sir do you know I have not lost one fish yet out the two tanks the 300 and 400 except from that place

I have a beautiful blue face and Emperor from the reef corner they also have fluke but I treated them successfully all pets club out here near me got a nice clown tang and majestic that's about it

A clear picture of the eye would help determine meds.

As you stated, the fish DOES have flukes, and was likely in the same system as the first blueline, so there's a decent chance they are the same prazi-resistant strain. Consider alternative treatments outlined in the sticky that was linked on your last thread.

Should leave a review on the vendor experiences forum while you're at it...

look at this poor fish he sent now I will prob.be out $400.00 I have no clue what to do for this eye. I just sent him pictures lets see what he says .

The texture on the eye looks like a secondary bacterial infection, IMO take care of the flukes first. Formalin treatment or the FW dip every 3 days method would be in order right now. Is the angel eating? The eye isn't life threatening, just hard to look at. Good luck.

I don't know if he's eating yet he is fat so I'm sure he was eating .he's pretty much hiding right now because he just came in yesterday. I don't like the freshwater dips personally so I guess I will try this formula and I guess I have every medicine except that at my house what is it called formula dip

Not if you want the dip to be effective..

Keep in mind formalin is nasty stuff, and freshwater dips aren't as stressful on a fish as we might think. I add a little methylene blue to help soothe the fish while in a FW dip, just a couple drops.

I can't read the package because of the resolution.. Just find something that is a 37% formaldehyde solution.

The eye could have been caused by the fish being kept in dirty or degrading water, either at the shop or during the shipping (the fish could have been shipped in that same dirty display/holding tank water). I would continue FW dips and immediately start Erythromycin. This has worked with fish that I have had look like that in the past. If it is indeed eating, that is a huge plus. A healthy Blueline should eat within a couple days of arriving, they are pigs IME. Take it slow and don't get crazy trying every medication available. So at this point: FW DIP + run antibiotic Erythromycin. After first antibiotic treatment is completed, and if the fish is eating, try Prazi/Metro treatment. I would only use Formalin as a last resort or as a short bath. Maybe run some CP later if ich is present.

I must say though, i have brought back fish to full health that have looked way worse. You may be able to save this fish if it continues to feed well, in addition to proper medication.
