reproduction of yuma/rics

I've always wondered and figure the best idea would be to post.

Do yumas and rics reproduce the same way that regular ole' mushrooms do?

from what i know my mushroom will move and leave a peice of its foot, than that lil peice turns into a mushroom itself.

i dont think soo.. I think rics split... like grow another mouth and everntually will grow apart... please correct me if im wrong

My ricordea yumas move around and leave a foot ricordea florida i assume splits but not sure

They split. I have an orange/blue ric in the process of doing this right now.

My DSLR is packed as were moving but let me see if I can find my wifes camera and snap one for you. instead of being a circle it looks like you put two pancakes on the griddle too close together. lol best way to describe it. It gets more pronounced/seperated as the days go by.

exactly. also almost all other mushrooms do the same thing except the ric.
