I really like the first shot. The last one would have been awesome with a bit more depth of field so that their heads were more in focus but I'm sure you were fighting with slow shutter speeds being handheld.

Not bad, the third shot would benefit from the eyes or at least the head of one lizard being in focus, right now there is nothing in the shot to draw you in at all.

I had actually done that on purpose, lol. The point was to draw the eye to the claw being dug into the other lizard's back. I didn't think you would really notice that claw unless it was the only thing in focus. I just thought it was funny that they were resting, but one had its claws digging into the other ones back. I guess the idea didnt turn out the way I had planned though.

Here is the shot I took of the actual lizards, and not just the claw:

This shot is a little too bright huh? I had a major problem with my LCD display because the brightness on my LCD display was darker than the actual image, so I would take a picture and review it on my dark LCD display and think the image was a little too dark so I would increase the lighting until it appeared right on the LCD display. That was a hassle, good thing I realized what was going on.

It's very hard to make a picture look "right" unless you have the eyes in focus. I've taken a lot trying to emphasize certain body features or stances but if the eyes are blurred, the shot is 99% of the time just wrong looking to our brains.
