REQ: Mushroom Identification

I believe this is a hairy mushroom of some sort, but I'm not entirely sure. Sorry about the poor quality of images (taken with my cell phone), the light is 6500k.

The center of it has a volcano shaped oriface of some sort.

Shape of the center overlayed, as its difficult to see with the lighting.

Thank you in advance.

The zoa's around it are starting to spread to underneath it, would it be a good idea to frag the zoa's surrounding it or will the hairy mushroom not be affected? I've read that zoa's can sting another coral pretty badly.

How close are they now? If they are very close or are touching then you would have already seen the hairy mushroom (which is what it looks like) affected by the zoa's if they were going to sting it.

When the hairy mushroom is fully expanded, it overlaps about 6-10 polyps between the 2 of them. What could I expect to see as signs of zoa stings? Would it just remain closed, or would there be a physical sign of stings on the mushroom itself?

It would remain closed maybe even let go of the rock and float around the tank. I really do not think that it would leave any sting marks. If the polyps are touching the mushroom then they are definitely not stinging it.
