Hi All

Can someone please advise what are the ideal requirements for the above mentioned shrooms in terms of light, food, flow and water quality?

Thanks

i would be interested in this information too. i have been told that medium flow, 3-4 watt/gallon, no real requirement for supplemental food, and great water quality are needed. granted this info was from a LFS so I will defer to the words of those that actually keep these corals!

the best way to express how much light you have is in par watt/gal is outdated. do you have t5 or pc bulbs?i have grown rics under both and had the best results under T5, i guess it was do to the bulbs having a little higher output. for flow med flow is best. if you give us tank specs we can set you in the right direction.

thanks for the clarification. on some websites that describe coral needs, lighting is expressed in watt/g. i am using T5s with two (2) 10k bulbs and two (2) 420/460nm Actinic bulbs. So 216w for my 60g tank.

If you put the rics on the rocks about midway --> top in your tank they should do well. If you're running the T-5's on an Icecap ballast you could easily keep them anywhere in the tank.

Tank specs:
51*27.5W*21.6H water level will be at 19.6
T5 lights 384W can add more if need be
Flow 2*1100Gph seio, 2*820Gphseios, 2*1320 sun sun flow pumps - dont think i will use all
