resetting my tank up fish question.

In the process of cleaning my equipment up from the last time I set it up. Finally settled in the new house and location. Wanted your thoughts on putting a trigger in a 90g tank. Don't want it to be a temporary thing though. So what to you guys think yes or no?

i think you could but not alot can go with it when its full grown. also pick a smaller type of trigger

if you want it as a forever thing then realize that your tank will forever be a hostile environment lol no big deal just plan for lion fish, snow flake eels, and other aggressive species. Also would note that as they get bigger they get a big beak like tooth and they will scrape up your tank and possibly turn it to junk.

I would personally recommend clown triggers, very active swimmers, very hearty and easy to keep. Feed krill, silversides, and mysis to keep them from beating up on others - well fed ( not over fed) triggers are much less aggressive typically.

clown triggers are recommended in a large aquarium as they are hardy once they get adult size they are 12 inches or more in length and would need at least a 6 foot long aquarium 150 or more gallons i would recommend IME niger triggers huma/piccasso triggers or if your looking for basically a trigger only in the tank an undulate trigger possibly a blue jaw trigger but they can get large as well typically they do get around 12 inches or more some are a little smaller can off the top of my head recall all of them but those are some but surely not a clown trigger wouldnt work for the life of him/her i love the niger they grow kinda slow-moderate and are mostly non aggressive and will get along with other tank mates most of the time

i would say you could run the tank with triggers just not a large one u might even get away with a trigger and dwarf angel or smaller tang its possible even possible to do two smaller triggers in the 90 gallon just depends on what kind dont lose track of what u want it is possible
