Resetting quarantine tank

I am looking for advice on cleaning a quarantine tank that continually has aiptasia popping up in it. I plan on dumping the tank and recycling but I want to make sure aiptasia does not come back. If I run the tank with a 5% or 10% bleach and water mix and let it dry out should that be good? Or maybe vinegar? Anyone have any experience with this? I have heard that aiptasia is pretty resilient.

I guess I should of titled this Sterilizing Quarantine tank. So anyone have any advice? I can't imagine aiptasia would survive bleach.

I would just empty and let it sit for a week or so dry...bleach could cause issues later if you dont get everything out.

i'd just clean the tank with bleach, rinse well, run the tank with tap water + dechlorinator for a couple of hours, rinse again and dry it off. i'd also clean it with vinegar. having said that, ime, just drying out for a week killed all aiptasia.

what issues? I've read almost everywhere that bleach is safe once dried out.

Yes if properly cleaned and completely removed it would be fine but if you miss some or it just dries up it could be toxic. I always used vinegar
