resizing pics w/ mac

I am using iphoto to resize my pics but have to make the pic sooooo small to make it fit. Is there another way to do it on iphoto?

When you are in iPhoto selet the thumbnails you want to resize, the go to File>Export> then select size and locations of file. It actually keep your orginal image and makes a copy to the file of your choice. You can also select "Quicktime" and make a fast movie slideshow. Just look at the tabs in the top of the file export box. See image below

hmmm, I am to do this but when i post the pic it is very small. anyway to compromise the quality instead of size to get the appropriate kb size.
