Contemplating ordering several small females. I'd just like to know how they've been coming out of LA (as opposed to DD) lately. Didn't have the greatest luck with them a few months back but would like to add some to the four healthy ones I currently have in the display.

I've ended up with seven in my tank out of 13 bought. All but one made it through QT. Of the six I lost, three jumped, one got vortech-ed and two just disappeared. First lot I ordered from DD last spring were terrific, all in the 2" range. The second lot I got last Fall were small, probably just a bit more than 1". All of the former have survived; most of the latter have not. Note to self: don't buy the small ones! Or, if you are going to, plan a looooong QT.
