Hello fellow reefers! I will be traveling to your area this coming Thursday and Friday. I am taking my family to Disney World. We will be traveling on Interstate 63. I was wondering of places near by to take the family to eat. We are not looking for anything up-scale. Rather we are looking for the mom and pop places that just serve good food and are family friendly. We will be looking for breakfast and lunch/dinner food. Any suggestions would be great and thank you in advance.

Hmmmm... do you mean I-65? I'm not aware of an I-63 in this area.
I-65 comes through Athens in North Alabama. If you're here at lunch or dinner time, try Lawler's BBQ at the interchange of I-65 and U.S. Hwy 72. Get the pork BBQ plate or sandwich. It's a North Alabama specialty! All of my relatives from Missouri love it!

Sorry, it was late when I posted! We will be coming in on I-78 and heading to Atlanta to check out the aquarium and then down to Disney. We have the Mex/Tex, Asian, Italian restraunts back home. We are looking for the southern mom/pop, diner, cafe, hole in the wall types of places. No chains unless they are a southern local chain. Thanks!

if you mean US-78 then just on the other side of adamsville there is Deermans BBQ with is absolutly the best(in my opinion).
