Resun 15000a DC Wave Pump w/ Controller

Does anyone have any experience with these wavemakers? Pro's con's? They seem to be sold overseas and I was curious if they are any good. Thanks for any input!

I have been using one in my sps tank in my office for a little while now. For the price, they're a great way to get a lot of random / natural flow into a tank without breaking your wallet!

Do you think they are made decent, just by the look and stuff of the plastic? Have you had problems with your controller?

I'm thinking of putting a few in a 260 I'm getting in June instead of selling out a grand for a few Vortechs

They are big, and an eyesore, but if you can get past that they are put together pretty well. I have not had any issues with the pump or the controller.

Are they loud? Do they really push out the GPH that they claim they do?

I do not hear mine run at all, and they most certainly do put out the flow as advertised.

It does, however the magnetic mount is pretty much worthless on anything that uses thicker glass than a 90gal tank or so. It's more to ensure that if the suction cups fail, it will be a temporary hold for it.

I think 2 of them in a 260 I'm setting up would be just fine. If I don't have enough room to do a closed loop I think there would work just fine... Can't beat the price, thats for sure.

I would go with 4 of them. At that price its cheaper than one tunze 6205.
I may have to pick up a couple from PA. I have 3 tunze's i think 2 oof these would finish off the 300 for flow.
