Well, I made an impulse purchase of a flower pot thinking that I would be OK after having two other LPS in my tank for about a month, that seemed to be thriving, and was anxious for a new addition. But, now I am wondering if I should return the flower pot. The other two are a waving hand and a frogspawn.
My main concern is that my clown has no anemone, as its a fairly new tank, and it is constantly harassing my flower pot. It has not fully opened since the first day I have a had it, and would rather return than watch it slowly die. Also have been reading that water conditions must be PERFECT for this coral, but not sure what the author's definition of perfect is. My nitrates are probably the only concern and they usually run around 20 to 30. Toward the higher end right now, as I just added a new fish.
I would say this flower pot is of the pink variety.
Your opinions please, so I can return it as quickly as possible if need be. I also thought about adding an anemone to stop the clown from harassing it?
Thanks, Tony
