return manifold question

I'm in the process of setting up another tank, it's a 56 gal, 30X18X24 starfire front. My question is do I need to run the water return manifold around the top sides or is along the back top and bottom and down the middle enough. The return pump is an in sump quiet one 4000, its volume is around 560 gal per hr at a 5ive foot head, which is where it is. Any help would be appreciated....

anywhere you want will be fine. just point them where you have some low flow areas or dead spots.
