Return pump for 46 gallon tank

I'm building a 46 gallon system with 20 gallon long sump. Would a mag drive 5 be a good choice for a return pump?

Yes that would work I had a Mag 7 on a 55 gallon tank, I believe that you can just change the impeller to make it a Mag 7, a eheim 2000 compact would work as well.

Ok thanks. I've already got the mag 5 since I was using it as a water change pump for my cichlids, I'll give it a good cleaning and use it for the reef tank .
