I just hooked up a new Eheim 1260 to my 90g reef.
My old pump was a catalina aquarium 1055 gph 80w pump.
The Eheim is 635 gph and 65w. It seems that there is almost no different in the amount of flow this pump is putting out.
Also, I find it strange that the 1260 is almost 50% larger than the old pump...
Could the old pump have lost power over time? I am guessing it was at least 5 years old or more.
