Hello everyone. I'm looking for user experience and recommendations on return pumps. I'm currently using an external high pressure return pump that's way too much for my system. Here are the details on my system and plans.
120 gallon rimless
40 gallon sump (using about 30 gallons)
The return will need to be able to handle:
-a reactor manifold for gfo and carbon
-head of about 5-6 feet
-I only want about 3-4 turnover from the return pump
-my drain line is 1.5 inch
I'm looking at the eheim 1262 or sicce pumps. Any help or suggestions would be greatly welcomed.
