Return Pump Recommendations

Hi All!

Looking for some recommendations on which return pump to use on my 500 gallon system. The Sump, Prop, algea filter,etc system will be pumping about 25 Feet Total (including the 6' rise, elbows, unions, etc...) to a 54 Corner tank in my living room. The Return line is .75 PVC and I'd like to turn over about 1000 GPH.

I was looking at a sequence manta but I am starting to think it may be overkill.

So, if you have a specific recommendation or just a pump you like to use, fire away with the details.

go to the main page and check the headloss calculator. most of the common pumps are there. that should at least put you in the right direction

Already did. That's why I have the approximate head on the system. I am looking for input and experiences with particular models.

i guess it might help us if you post a list of the ones that you think will work for your app and we can recommend... like i can say im a fan of the quiet one pumps... i have a 3000 and its super quiet and pumps strong, but that wont work for your application... i doubt the 6000 would even be strong enough... so my review does you no good...
