I'm currently looking at some pumps for my return. You can check my page or the link in my signature for my setup info. In short I will have to have at least 750gph at 6' of head.

I have used Rios for 20 years good pumps for the money but not on wave makers.
I would use the Rio 3100 = 900 - head/friction return. Comes with control valve if needed.
