return pump size to display, refugium to manifold

I've got a 120 that has a 1" herbie drain, and a remote refugium with a 1" herbie drain as well. this return pump is going to run a manifold as well.... i'm confused at which size pump i need. Should i run a 2500 gallon per hour pump for it or should i run a 3200 gph pump.

i can always close both pipes to each dsiplay to half with a gate valve

I have a 120 gallon tank and use a Fluval SP4. It serves as a return pump and also runs to a manifold for my refuge and to two reactors. I have two gate valves - one for the return and one for the manifold.

The tank is a MarineLand cornerflow. I run just about as much water into the tank as the weir can handle. I run a Herbie, which has no issue with the flow.

I'm very happy with the pump.
