Return

So right now I have my return go to one corner of my tank. To improve flow should I branch out and have another return going to the opposite corner?

If you need to you could. That will reduce the flow/head a bit because of increase back pressure but you could probably turn the return pump up to make up for it.

If you have a problem with flow on the other side I'd suggest using a powerhead to take care of it.

I do have 2 powerheads going, one on either side. I just noticed the tanks I have seen that they have 2 return outlets in their tank.

While not an issue to have multiple returns you can just use powerheads as needed to direct flow..
Its really up to you..

I have been researching this same issue. I am setting up a 90mgallon 4' long tank. Apparently 1 return is enough. The powerheads will do most of the work as far as turnover is concerned.
