Returning my DT to lifesand

I had to take the sand in a newly cycled tank out and have stored it in a storage tote since a RODI accident halted everything
It is now time to set this tank up again.
Question. Since the sand has been stored in water all this time shouldn't it be ok to just put it back in or is washing in order here?

How long was the sand stored, how long was the old tank set up and did you keep the water heated and circulating?

Stored about 30 days. DT was running about 3 months.There was no heat or circulation. Basically it is saturated sand and has a clean smell and appearance.

I think it would be okay since it was only in the old tank for a short time. I would flush it very well to remove as much detritus as possible.
