ReUsing Gallon Jugs

My wife's friend owns a grooming business so I could get an endless supply of jugs that had dog shampoo in them. Is it possible to use the jugs for mixing 2-part and the like. I was thinking rinsing the jugs with hot tap water, then boiling water, then a final rinse with vinegar and water(wife's suggestion). Is this acceptable or no?

i wouldnt risk it.. i used to use the Minute Maid orange juice jugs for two part but changed over to the ones by bulk reef supply with the pump attachment

I just bought a few gallons of distilled water and I reuse those jugs.

Juice, water, vinegar or milk will be OK IMO but solvents, soaps, bleach detergent and so I would stay away. Certain quemicals can really get into the plastic.
