Reverse 50mm Pistol Shrimp

Had to change out my sump the other day(New Skimmer to big ) and found this guy hiding in it. Was going to get rid of him when my wife felt bad and tried to feed him. Out he jumped into the display. Oh well.

He was about as big as the lead on the end of a pencil. Photographed him with a reversed 50mm lens and flash set on low. Pretty cool shrimp hope he does well in my display

Nice capture and extremely interesting critter to have in any reef aquarium. Now all you need is a goby to pair him with and you'll be set to observe very interesting "relationship" between the two.

PS. I once found a rock boring urchin in my sump, still can;t figure out how it got there.
