Reverse Gorilla Nipples

I have had this zoa for a while. It was one polyp mixed in with others. I somehow separated it and ever since I did, it has been multiplying pretty quickly. I am wondering if anyone else has these and how rare they are for when I am ready to frag. I had never seen them before and I was pretty surprised to see them on zoaid. Let me know what you think (I will try to get a decent picture this afternoon sometime). Here is the link to them on zoaid. Mine look exactly like the ones on the left.

I have them. Some one told me that if you placed them in a shaded area they will turn blue with an orange center but I have never tanken out the time to frag a piece and try it.

Hey gallivanmk...nice looking zoas. More importantly, I saw that you're also from Charleston,SC. I can't believe I found another Chucktown Reefer on here. PM me when you get a chance and maybe we can meet up sometime.

I am setting up my 55 this weekend so we should talk sometime.

Well, that is all I needed to know. I didn't think they would necessarily be "rare," but like I said, I was pretty surprised to see them on zoaid. Have a nice one guys!
Definitely divecj5, we can trade sometime. Have you checked out the charleston reefer's website? Charlestonreefers.org... Lots of people in charleston...

I got mine from the lfs for pretty cheap. Under $30 for the colony, half of which was these. I love them, they look like a bright copper center surrounded by a greenish patina sheen.

i have them too, i bought a green cap about 3' for 40 buck's and i have to say that there were like 30-40 of those on the base rock that came with the plate... i told him i just wanted the cap, but i really wnated the both... i got a steal!!!

I also have them. I bought them thinking they were green and orange. Paid $20 for about 50 polyps. Must have been the lighting.

Mine are definitely dark brown with orange centers. I actually like the look. It reminds of those Halloween Oreos or something.

There's one that's green only with actinic, and another that is actually green.

Mine were a hitchhiker. I liked them so grew them out :)
