I would get the 5-stage standard at least and you can always get the "T"s and tap in with a TDS meter later if youd like.

Spectrapure has a refurb for 120. Its a 4 stage and has some very good filters with it.

My main issue is getting it here to the house. Installed . So I can start mixing my salt. I'm going with bulk reef 5. And I'm gonna put it in the garage. I need RO and salt tanks.

TDS meter is a definite MUST when you get an RO system. It's what let's you know that your membranes haven't broken. One of the long term MTRCers crashed his tank by accidentally using RO that had come from a system with broken membranes! Horrible!

Check your TDS every time!

I like my SpectraPure system...a lot. I buy SpectraPure membranes for the RO usually. They're good and not very expensive, IMO. But I use the BRS stuff for everything else in it...carbon and DI cartridges.
